- I am the eldest child of the man known as the "Grandfather of Civil RIghts" in the City of Tucson and the State of Arizona.
I was the first African American to work at the Tucson Police Department-Records Division...the first Black to work
at KTKT Radio Station, the first Black to work in the admin.

- What Black Organizations? Organizations that do what? I've been home for almost a year and the whole landscape has changed. Everywhere I go, Tucson's racial makeup has changed. I see Brown and White. Do you black folks believe the fight is over? Do you just sit and talk about a dream? A dream without action is just that....A dream. Where are the ministers of our churches. Where is the NAACP? Do you see what's happening to our children, our communities....or do you care? If you think just because you can move freely from one plantation to the other (states), because you can make a few dollars, because you drive a new car that you are a freed slave...think again. If these psycho racists can call your president and first lady the names they do and you sit silently by....you are just another "House nigger". Get over yourselves! Get involved...start standing on your feet and get off your damn knees.
