Yes, Sir, I most definitely will! It was such an honor an a privilege. I also was honored in 1998 by being asked to sound the drum during the yearly ceremony. That was a great honor for me too! I am sorry to report that the legacy of the center is dying...The current Director, Dr. Bruce Smith announced yesterday at the Black Grad student Sankofa event, that all the centers are merging & he will be director.
I am so very honored to meet you. In 1998, I received an award from the Cultural Center as I graduated from the UofA with a Bachelors in Psychology. The award was given to me in your name, but I had never met you before, so this is truly an honor to make your acquaintance. Thank you for all the work you did while you were here in Tucson and I know those in your new environment are being blessed by your presence.
Should you ever visit Tucson, please leave a message on this site so that I and others will know you are coming and we can make a special effort to see you in person. Please know that you legacy is still alive and well here at the UofA.

They are very up scale but at a reasonable price.
Dr. Hargrove, you might not remember me, but I remember you and the contributions you made here in Tucson. I worked as a writer for the Tucson Sun Press, back in the day and I wrote the article regarding your departure from Tucson. I so glad to hear you are doing well. Individuals like yourself are sorely missed here.

Tim is doing well. He is still in LA. Had a pretty serious health situation a couple of months ago. We believe a serious alergic reaction - so we had some pretty tense moments, but he's fine now. Email me and I'll get his contact information to you and get yours to him.
We really miss you around here. There hasn't been anyone like you at the U of A since you left (Julian Kunnie was close), but you know what? I'm not sure they want anyone. I actually put my hat in the ring a few times for positions including various positions in minority recruiting, Alumni Director and Director of MLK - never even got the courtesy of an interview. I thought with my background in Tucson and in the school system, my very diverse background at the UofA and my experience at an HBCU I would at least qualify for an interview.
Anyway 'nuff said about that. I don't know if you remember that Chuck Simms and I had a circular Chess Game, called W.A.R.P.S. that we were working on - well, we're rocking and rolling on that again. We were on the reality show "American Inventor" a couple of years ago and were one of the top 50 inventions. Look at our website: www.warps.net. If you have chess playing kids out there let me know and let's see if we can get them connected.

I had IM on Ebony Tucson for a while. The box is still there in the right side column. The problem was when you clicked on someone picture to IM them, a tone was to sound to alert them. That never worked. Ning just developed an updated version which became available a few days ago. I will find some time between now and Sunday to put it on the site.
