Greetings My Sister,

It was my pleasure to have you attend and join me and others for the 50th Motown Anniversary Celebration. You have been the light that lit the path for the cultural artform we appreciate in the Ole Pueblo for a while. I am pleased I was able to provide you with a moment to sit and enjoy instead of being the performer for once.

Glad you enjoyed the evening!
May you continue to be blessed with good health and a desire to inspire.

Peace!

DW

Hey how is the lord blessing you RIGHT NOW???
I talked it over with my daughter and she is very interested.
I was surprise that she had heard of you," BW" It was a good surprise for me
because her mother is not up on our commUNITY.
So when where and how soon. Believe me when I say it will be my honor for you to teach my daughter this next stage of her life. She turn into a lil woman on the ninth of this month. Lucky for me I got SISTERS thank you lord cause I was not ready for this stage.LOL They did all the running around and explain it to her. I believe that a man should at least have in put on some of these things.
Barbea are you still doing the right of passage for young women. God I hope so. Get back with me.

The meeting went well, great turnout for a first time. This was a planning, brainstorming gathering of people interested in promoting, revitalizing, listing events for the Black History Month 2009. Next meeting, Thursday, Sept. 4th, 6pm. Jon Covington chaired the meeting and folks from UA, Rayban, fraternities, Juneteenth, TUL, Dunbar and others were present.

I proposed a play called "Fly" and targeted the NAACP 100TH celebration. Nothing was voted or confirmed. People seemed interested, I copied and passed out the reviews to generate more commitment to the project.... we talked about GEORGE PUCKETT’s web site as a viable tool to keep everyone informed and tuned in for this and other community projects...... Check out the photos on the web site..... Peace, Barbea
